Worry

You are praying effective prayers because you have an inner image of the Word you have been praying from scripture into your life, and it is coming to pass --until problems or challenges or trouble cause you to doubt the Word and worry.
The more you worry, the less power the Word will have on your thoughts. Like Jesus said, those cares will come up like weeds and thorns and choke out that inner image of the scriptural passage and replace it with an image of fear that strangles your faith, and your prayers will become powerless.

When you understand that devilish progression, you'll see why Jesus so strongly admonished us not to worry. Because when you worry, you're giving Satan the place in your life that the Word is supposed to have. You are meditating on his power to hurt you instead of meditating on God's power to deliver you.

We miss God's presence and power by being so focused on a problem that Satan presents to us -we take our eyes off of God and become unaware of what He is doing.

"For He (God) Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless, nor forsake nor let [you] down [relax my hold on you] --Assuredly not!" Hebrews 13:5 (AMP)

Faith is a real substance.

Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Supplication: pour out, unload, gory details, be specific, make a definite request. Casting your care through supplication is an act of humility. 1Peter 5:6-7 "Humble yourselves. . . under the mighty hand of God. . . casting the whole of your care. . . on Him."
Thank him: You haven't seen results in the natural world yet, but your faith isn't based upon what you see; it's based on what you believe (insert any scripture for truth to believe).

There may be times someone will come to you literally shaking with anxiety and ask you to pray for them. You can pray for the peace of God to come upon them. You can pray for the Prince of Peace to comfort them, but if that person is worried about a specific situation, those prayers won't help them. You have to lead them the biblical way: prayer, supplication, thanksgiving.

Maintain peace by fixing our minds on the Word of God, what it says about our situation. We think good and praiseworthy things.

You refuse to allow those fears to come back by shutting the door on them. You continue to keep them out by keeping your mind and your heart on the Word of God.

Isaiah 55:7 ESV
let the wicked forsake his way,
    and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Romans 8:5-6
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.

Luke 10:23 AMP
23 Then turning to His disciples, Jesus said privately, “Blessed [joyful, spiritually enlightened, and favored by God] are the eyes which see what you see,

Genesis 1 AMP
God blessed, affirmed and sustained what He believed to be good; He called good what was desirable, pleasant, pleasing, and useful

Genesis 3 AMP Serpent beguiled, deceived, crafty, subtle, skilled in deceit, directly contradicted God, simplified God

Genesis 4:7 AMP If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.”
